The Back Room is a compact, heavily restricted interior within the Foundation Mountain complex, and the setting of the Minamoto Intro Scene at the end of the opening tutorial. It is reached immediately after the Anima Scene in the Anima Room.

Here Minamoto rescues the player from the Anima and invites them to seek him out. He is joined by Cipher, Delta and Salvor, whose parting line — "We're losing the connection. GO!" — sends the player onward into the hub town of Virelda.

Getting there

The Back Room is entered automatically after the Anima Scene, as the closing beat of the scripted tutorial. From here the player emerges into Virelda.
