Mining is a Skill used to collect from IRON.png ores in the overworld and beacon dungeons.

Mining is a Gathering Skill used to collect resources from ore nodes IRON.png found throughout the overworld and beacon dungeons.

πŸ”§ How to Mine

Mining requires a Iron Pickaxe.png Pickaxe equipped in the Toolbag.

TIP: Higher-level Pickaxes can be used to mine lower-tier ore nodes.

There are two ways to mine:

  1. Stand next to a node and click-and-hold to charge. Release at peak to mine.
  2. Alternatively, click the node to automatically strike it 3 times and collect the resource.

Hint: One mining node may drop multiple items.

Ore nodes are present in all major zones.

Hint: Ore nodes share spawns. Leave and return to refresh the available types.

Tip: Node respawns vary. Check back every in-game day (β‰ˆ 3 hours real time).

  • Node placements are randomized on each dungeon floor
  • Leaving the floor removes all gathered nodes
  • New nodes appear each dungeon run

Mining requires a Iron Pickaxe.png Pickaxe to be equipped in the Toolbag.

TIP: A higher-level Pickaxe can still be used to mine lower-level nodes.


To mine:

  1. Stand next to and click-and-hold an ore node to start a charging animation with sound.
  2. Once the animation is at its peak, release the mouse button to mine the resource.

OR

  1. Stand next to and click the ore. Your character will strike the node 3x to break it

Hint: Multiple items can be dropped from 1 Mining node.

Hint: Mining nodes share spawns. If you are not satisfied with your selection of nodes, exit the area and come back to see fresh nodes.

Tip: Gathering node re-spawn times vary. Players are advised to start checking for new nodes every in-game day (3 hours).

Beacon dungeons

  • Gathering nodes are randomized per each dungeon floor.
  • If you leave the floor, the nodes are lost for that dungeon run.
  • New nodes spawn every run.
