Mining

Mining is a Gathering Skill used to collect resources from ore nodes found throughout the overworld.

The game data also defines Steelward Pickaxe, Tritanium Pickaxe, Viridium Pickaxe, Celestial Pickaxe, but no Manufacturing Station level unlocks their recipes, so they cannot currently be crafted. Their obtainability is unconfirmed.

Older mining tools

The tools below were craftable in an earlier version of the game, at a Crafting Table that no longer exists. They cannot currently be crafted. Where a quest or vendor is named as the source, that source has not been re-verified against the current game — treat it as historical until someone confirms it in-game.

🔧 How to Mine

Mining requires a Pickaxe equipped in the Toolbag.

TIP: Higher-level Pickaxes can be used to mine lower-tier ore nodes.

There are two ways to mine:

Stand next to a node and click-and-hold to charge. Release at peak to mine.
Alternatively, click the node to automatically strike it 3 times and collect the resource.

Hint: One mining node may drop multiple items.

Ore nodes are present in all major zones.

Hint: Ore nodes share spawns. Leave and return to refresh the available types.

🌄 Overworld Dungeons

Early ores can be found in:

Virelda Outskirts
Seabreeze Pass → Needlepoint Pass → Everdune Ruin

Advanced ores appear in:

Hollow Rock
Clifftop Pass → Scorched Cave (part of the Farpoint cave system)

Tip: Node respawns vary. Check back every in-game day (≈ 3 hours real time).
