Anima Scene is the seventh beat of the tutorial opening loop in Soulbound: Online, playing in the Anima Room after the Tutorial Dungeon. It is a scripted scene in which the Anima set upon the player to "drain your Yoku", introducing the game's central threat before Minamoto intervenes.

• Enemies: the Anima — Dr. Sakamoto (the Anima of Fear) and Teisutei (a shadow creature), plus several unnamed anima. These are scripted scene antagonists, not statted combat mobs.
• Cast: Dr. Sakamoto, Teisutei, Rigoku (a stern teacher).

Walkthrough

Drained

On entering the Anima Room, the Anima — led by Dr. Sakamoto and Teisutei — attack the player to drain their Yoku. Rigoku appears as a stern guide; in dialogue he is associated with handing over a Farpoint Rift beacon key and an Ability Configurator used to choose which abilities to take into a dungeon. The scene resolves into the Minamoto Intro Scene.

Note: the Ability Configurator exists in the item catalogue, but no item-grant node for it (or for a beacon key) appears in this scene's quest export — the association comes from Rigoku's dialogue. Treat the grant as unconfirmed and reconfirm against the live build.
