Equipment
Equipment is everything your character can equip. It splits into two branches: Gear — worn for combat stats — and Tools — equipped to gather and interact with the world.
Gear
Weapons, armor and accessories worn for stats, plus cosmetics worn for looks. Gear can be crafted at stations or dropped in dungeons — dropped copies roll bonus stats, higher rarity, and at Legendary rarity a legendary effect.
Tools
Equipment for mining, foraging, fishing, hacking and farming. Tools are craft-only; their tier decides which gathering nodes you can use.
