Creating An Account

You can create an account on Soulbound by launching an activity via Discord, or by creating an account on the website.

Creating an account via Discord

The simplest way to create a Soulbound account is to launch the game via the Activity Launcher on Discord. Soulbound is only available via the desktop version of Discord.

1. Open the activity launcher in any text channel, including a DM, and search for Soulbound
   

   Click the circled icon in any text channel and search for Soulbound.
2. Click the result to view more information about the activity, then select "Launch" to launch Soulbound in the current channel or "Launch in DM" to launch it privately.
3. After launching the application, a guest account will be created automatically.
4. Press the "Play as" button to bring up the character creator and give you the option to enter a username
5. After entering your username, press Continue to start the game.

Note: You cannot link other login methods using the Discord version of the game. Instead, you will need to use the web version of the game.

Creating an account via website

You can also create an account through https://play.webb.game/. The website is accessible on any web browser including desktop and mobile web browsers. However, there some important things to remember if you create your Soulbound account via the website.

1. Accounts are created without any passwords or native login methods. Therefore, creating an account this way requires that you go to Settings -> Account and add at least one of the available login methods if you want to ensure you don't lose access to your account. Linking your Discord account here is required if you wish to also play the same account via Discord.

2. You must enable first party cookies to be able to create an account or otherwise interact with the site. If your browser blocks all cookies, you will receive an error message when you try to set the name for your character.
