Neotilus Set
The Neotilus Set is one of the four themed sets of gear in Soulbound: Online, alongside the Foundation, Lunar and Virelda sets. It spans Tier 3 to Tier 6 and contains 24 pieces, six at every tier: one Head, one Chest and one Feet piece of armor, one Necklace, and two weapons.
The set draws on two of the four weapon classes. Every tier has one Greatsword and one Hammer; no Sword or Staff belongs to the set. Most pieces are named for their material or pattern rather than for the set, so only the Tier 5 and Tier 6 armor pieces — the Neotilus Trailseeker coat, boots and visor — carry the set name themselves.
Stat focus
Across the set's 24 pieces, Power appears on 20 — every piece except the four necklaces — Vitality on 13, and Attack Speed, Ferocity and Physical Damage on 12 each. Critical Strike Damage and Heavy Hit Chance follow on 10 pieces each, then Duration on 9, Precision on 8, Focus on 6, Knockback on 5 and Critical Strike Chance on 4. Will appears on exactly one piece, the Tritanium Hammer.
Every damage-type stat in the set is physical: Physical Damage is carried by all eight weapons and all four head pieces, and no piece carries fire, cold, lightning, void, explosive or poison damage, Healing Power, Shielding Power or any resistance stat. Combined with a weapon line-up of only greatswords and hammers, those stats suit a physical melee build that leans on landing large hits — Heavy Hit Chance, Critical Strike Damage and Knockback — with Attack Speed on half the set and Vitality on all twelve armor pieces.
Obtaining
Every piece of the set can be both crafted and found as a dungeon drop; the set has no craft-only and no drop-only pieces.
- Crafting — the eight weapons are made at the Weapon Station, and the twelve armor pieces and four necklaces at the Gearforge Station (see Gearforging). A crafted copy always has the base stats and base rarity listed below.
- Dungeon drops — every piece also drops from dungeon chests, where the dropped copy rolls bonus stats on top of its base stats and can reach higher rarities, up to Legendary.
Equipping any piece of the set requires Strength. Beyond that, chest, feet and necklace pieces require Dexterity, head pieces require Knowledge and Marksmanship, weapons require Dexterity and Technology, and necklaces additionally require Gearforging. Requirements rise with tier; each item's own page lists its exact requirements and roll table.
Legendary effects
A legendary effect only appears on a Legendary dungeon drop — crafted copies never carry one. Fifteen pieces of the set can roll an effect, covering twelve different effects between them. Several of these effects can also roll on items outside the set; see Legendary Effects for the full catalogue and what each effect does.
Set items
All 24 pieces, sorted by tier then slot. Base stats are the crafted values — a dungeon-dropped copy adds a bonus package on top of them.
