Greatsword

A greatsword is one of the four weapon classes in Soulbound: Online, alongside the sword, hammer and staff. The greatsword's weapon ability is a physical area attack that strikes in two impact zones, on a 2-second cooldown.
Every greatsword requires skill levels in Strength and Dexterity to equip; most also require a third skill — Technology on Neotilus greatswords, Knowledge on Virelda greatswords.
Obtaining
Greatswords run from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1 and 2 greatswords belong to no set; from Tier 3 upward each tier has one Neotilus and one Virelda version.
- Crafting — every greatsword except the Basic Claymore can be forged at the Weapon Station. Crafted copies carry base stats and base rarity only.
- Dungeon rolls — every greatsword, including the Basic Claymore, can drop from dungeon chests, where the dropped copy rolls bonus stats on top of the base stats. In-game descriptions name the chest source by dungeon tier: Stable (Tier 1), Unstable (Tier 2), Fractured (Tier 3), Collapsing (Tier 4), Volatile (Tier 5) and Cataclysmic (Tier 6).
