Lunar Set
Lunar is one of the four themed gear sets in Soulbound: Online, alongside Foundation, Neotilus and Virelda. Its 24 pieces of gear span Tier 3 to Tier 6, six per tier, and cover five slots: Head, Chest, Feet and Necklace, plus two weapons at every tier. Those weapons cover three of the four weapon classes — four hammers, three staves and one greatsword — and the set contains no sword. Every piece can be crafted, and every piece also drops from dungeon chests. The set shares its name with the Lunar Plateau.
Stat focus
Across the set's 24 pieces, Focus appears on 18 and Will on 14, making them the set's two most common stats; DoT Potency and Vitality follow on 13 pieces each, Cooldown Reduction on 12, and AoE Radius and Healing Power on 8 each. Those two lead stats point the same way as the rest — Focus grants bonus AoE size, heavy hit chance and effect duration, and Will grants bonus cooldown reduction — so a Lunar loadout adds ability size, duration and uptime from the primary stats and again from the secondary ones. Stats tied to weapon-attack burst are far thinner by comparison: Critical Strike Damage appears on 6 pieces, four of which are the set's hammers, Attack Speed on 3, and Critical Strike Chance on none at all. On that evidence the set suits builds that lean on abilities and damage over time rather than on weapon critical strikes; the hammer line is the exception, carrying Power, Ferocity and Critical Strike Damage in place of the Will and DoT Potency the rest of the set shares.
Obtaining
Every Lunar piece is both craftable and dungeon-droppable; the set has no drop-only and no craft-only pieces.
- The 16 armour and Necklace pieces are crafted at the Gearforge Station (see Gearforging).
- The 8 weapons are crafted at the Weapon Station.
A crafted copy always has exactly the base stats listed below. A copy found in a dungeon chest instead rolls a bonus package on top of those base stats and can reach a higher rarity. The in-game descriptions name the chests each piece turns up in by tier — Fractured at Tier 3, Collapsing at Tier 4, Volatile at Tier 5 and Cataclysmic at Tier 6 — except for the four Necklaces, whose descriptions mention only the Gearforge although they roll like everything else.
Legendary effects
Eight legendary effects can roll on Lunar gear. They appear only on Legendary copies dropped from dungeon chests, so a crafted Lunar piece never carries one.
Set items
Celestial Yoku Staff is recorded with the greatsword subtype in the item data, despite its name.
