Farming plot
A farming plot is a tile of tilled soil that a player can plant seeds in for Farming experience and Produce. Plots appear in three places: attached to certain rentable locations, at the Homestead in Virelda, and in the farming tutorial area.
Plots at rentable locations
4 of the game's 36 rentable locations have a farming plot outside them — a block of 4 tiles with a farm signpost beside it:

Renting a farm
The farm is rented at the signpost, separately from the land itself. The signpost charges 20 Gold per day for a term of 1 to 7 days, and the panel is titled after whoever currently holds the location — for example CYBREBB's Farm. The location has to be rented by someone before its farm can be rented at all; if nobody holds it, the signpost reports that the farm cannot be rented right now.
The Homestead
Virelda also contains 57 farming plots in the Homestead area. These are not attached to any rentable location and are not rented at a signpost.
Tutorial plots
The two farming tutorial areas contain their own practice plots (27 and 27 respectively). They are not rentable and are not tied to an apartment.
