Arthur
Arthur is the farmer who teaches the player to farm during Sowing Seeds in Beginner's Bay. He works the farmland alongside his sharp-tongued partner Mara, and the pair are known as the farming twins.
Arthur carries a golden exclamation mark over his head when he has a quest available; speak to him to take on his questline. Levelling Farming early makes later Crafting quests easier.
Location
Arthur is stationed at the farming plots in Beginner's Bay, the outdoor farmland tutorial zone (quest room tutorial_farmland).
The live community article instead places him in the player-plantable seed farm at the Homestead, north-east of Virelda. Which of the two is his current Early Access posting is unresolved — see Notes.
Role
Arthur gives the player a starter Hoe, Trowel, Watering Can, Garden Shears and their first seed, then guides them through the full farming loop:
- Move to the location marked on the map
- Speak to Arthur
- Prepare the soil with the hoe
- Plant the seed with the trowel
- Water the crop with the watering can
- Harvest the crop with the garden shears
- Sell the crop to Aster
- Buy seeds from Seedle
- Return to Arthur

Sowing Seeds
The farming tutorial described under Role. Arthur grants the Hoe, Trowel, Watering Can and Garden Shears, the first seed (Wild Berry Seed), and three each of the Wild Cucumber, Wild Strawberry and Wild Bell Pepper seeds.

Arthur presents farming as the next skill after mining and foraging, and hands off to Aster and Seedle for the trade side of the loop.
Notes
- Location is disputed. The cluster-sourced draft places Arthur at Beginner's Bay in the
tutorial_farmlandroom of the Sowing Seeds export; the live community article places him at the Homestead seed farm north-east of Virelda. The infobox keeps the cluster value pending a ruling; the community placement is recorded above. - Quest coverage differs by source: only Sowing Seeds appears in the cluster quest export for Arthur. Run Rabbit Run and Business is Blooming!, and their tasks and rewards, come from the community page and are not yet reconfirmed against the cluster.
