How to Forage

Foraging requires a pair of Gloves and/or Shovel to be equipped in the Toolbag.

Tip: Bring both Gloves and Shovel when gathering! The ability to gather from a wild plant depends on the type of Foraging Tool equipped.

Additionally, a Spile may be equipped to increase certain item droprates from plants.

Hint: Spiles are used to increase the chance of specific Foraging drops A higher-level Spile does not have the collection bonuses of a lower-level Spile

To forage:

  1. Stand next to and click-and-hold a wild plant to start a charging animation with sound.
  2. Once the animation is at its peak, release the mouse button to gather the plant.

Foraging Locations & Re-spawn Timers

Overworld Dungeons

Wild plant nodes are available in all zones and cluster in set locations on the overworld.

Hint: Foraging nodes share spawns. If you are not satisfied with your selection of nodes, exit the area and come back to see fresh nodes.

Re-spawn timers vary; check for new nodes 3 hours (length of 1 in-game day) from last gathering.

Recommended Foraging routes:

Beacon Dungeons

  • Gathering nodes are randomized per each dungeon floor
  • If you leave the floor, the nodes are lost for that dungeon run
  • New nodes spawn every run
