Swords are one of the four weapon classes of gear in Soulbound: Online, alongside Greatswords, Hammers and Staves. A sword's basic attack is a slash in an arc in front of the wielder, dealing physical damage on a 1.1-second cooldown.

Obtaining

All swords except the Iron Cutlass can be crafted at the Weapon Station — a crafted copy always has the base stats listed below. Every sword, including the Iron Cutlass, also drops from dungeon chests, where the dropped copy rolls bonus stats on top of its base stats and can reach higher rarities.

Swords span Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1–2 swords belong to no set; from Tier 3 upward each tier has two swords, one Foundation and one Virelda. Every Foundation sword carries Critical Strike Chance, while every Virelda sword carries Critical Strike Damage. Equipping a sword requires Skill levels in Marksmanship plus, depending on the blade, Technology and/or Strength — requirements rise with tier.
