Money making guide/Smelting iron bars
The rates on this page have not been verified.(flagged 2026-07-29)
The structure is right, the numbers are not confirmed. If you have played this method, please correct them — how many bars you really manage in an hour, what actually drops, and how much of it. Everything here is editable and nothing here is official.
=== What you get ===
| Item | Quantity | Sell value each |
|---|---|---|
| Iron Bar | 1 per bar | value needed |
=== What it costs ===
| Item | Quantity | Sell value each |

| Iron Ore | 5 per bar | 1 |
=== Requirements ===
The 5-ore recipe is documented on Iron Ore. Iron Bar has no Sell Value recorded yet, so the profit cannot be worked out until someone adds Template:Value/Iron Bar — that one page turns this guide into a real number.
Method
Five Iron Ore make one Iron Bar at a Furnace. Whether smelting beats selling the ore raw depends entirely on the bar's value.
Improving this guide
This guide has the structure but not the numbers. Two things turn it into a real gold-per-hour figure, and neither needs any special permission:
- Bars per hour. Play for an hour, count, and put the number in
actions per hour.
- What you get per bar, in the
outputslots — and the
value of anything not yet priced.
See Wiki:Money making guide/Editing guide if you have not edited one of these before. Estimates clearly marked as estimates are much more useful here than nothing.
