Template:Stub

Flags an article that is too short or incomplete to give useful coverage, and adds it to the work queue at Category:Stubs. Place it at the very top of the page.

Usage

Parameters

• 1 — optional short phrase naming what is missing, appended as

 "…expanding it with more information about …".

Behaviour

• Adds the page to Category:Stubs in the main namespace only.
• Category:Stubs is a hidden maintenance category (its category page carries

 __HIDDENCAT__), so the tag does not clutter the reader's
 category bar; it exists as a self-populating to-do list.

• Remove the template once the article gives reasonable coverage of its subject.
