Mysterious Vending Machine: Oh what a tragic tale that is! I come from Arcadia, where I provided salty and sweet snacks to the Arcadians for many years.
But eventually people stopped visiting me. My snacks went stale. my lights went out, and I was forced into early retirement.
They were going to turn me into scrap metal, so I knew I had to leave! That's how I came to be here – empty, alone, but whole still.
But now I am without a home. left to rely on the kindness of strangers..
Player: That's so sad OR Why don't you stay here OR How did you get here, though?
I would love to! Virelda is a paradise – what with the sun beaming down and the sand between my toes... oh wait.
Mike: You must stay here! We could do with some of Arcadia's new-fangled technology. and we have plenty of hungry mouths to feed!
