Spectra the Necromancer is an elusive and powerful Boss located in a special dungeon, the Hall of Death.

WARNING! Spectra is a notably difficult solo-only encounter. The player must be on The Finale quest to enter the fight space.

Preparation

Entrance to the Hall of Death

Players are advised to prepare properly:


Hint: Visit Dr. Fritz's Lab in Arcadia to craft upgrade materials


Recommended Relics:

  • Health
  • Dodge
  • Crit
  • Heavy Hit
  • Gunslinger - for Gleam Twins


Fighting Spectra

The Spectra fight is meant to test the player's mettle, forcing the use of all previous combat knowledge and experience.

WARNING! Spectra's fight will stop granting EXP after a certain amount of time. Use burst damage to kill the boss before she kills you.


Attacks

Spectra will start the fight will Circle AOEs, followed by Ghost Orbs interlaced with Spirits. She will also teleport around the room and become un-trackable and un-attackable for a time.

Circle AOE

Spectra will summon donut-shaped AOE attacks starting closest to her spawn point. Move out of the telegraphed AOE, then hit her once you are able to get closer.

After she teleports around the room, she will cast AOE attacks from her landing point.

Ghost Orbs

Ghost Orbs will surround Spectra in a circle. However, they will take a while before they fly off in all directions. Use this time to deliver extra damage to the boss, then step back to avoid being hit.

Spirits of the Dead

Spirits of past victims will run toward you throughout the encounter. Keep your distance! The Spirits will damage you if they touch you!


Outcomes

Defeat

If the player dies, they are teleported out of the dungeon with no bag or gear loss.



Victory

After Spectra is defeated, the player will automatically gain a Cosmetic, the Necrotic Cape.

Hint: Completing The Finale will unlock Tier 3 dungeons for Eastern Reach, Everdune, and Farpoint.
