Kitchen

Kitchen — also referred to as the Kitchen Station — is one of the eight canonical crafting stations in Soulbound: Online. Its internal station type is Kitchen and the display name stored on the station is also "Kitchen". It prepares tiered food consumables, which restore health and grant temporary stat boosts.

Station levels

Kitchens start at level 1 and, through continued use, can be upgraded to level 2, unlocking more advanced recipes. The station's level sets its input power draw and how many recipe slots it offers.

Functionality

Consumes ingredients gathered from farming, foraging or hunting.
Requires power to operate — for example, an active Generator.
Cannot be used during combat.
Level 2 stations are uncommon and require significant investment.

Upgrade requirements

To upgrade a Kitchen to level 2:

Experience required: 10,000 XP
Materials required:
- 1,500 × Gold
- 100 × Starmesh
- 25 × Synth-Fluid

Locations

The canonical crafting stations are introduced after the tutorial, during home and apartment onboarding in Virelda; which quest first grants or unlocks the Kitchen in Early Access is unconfirmed. The old "Welcome to Virelda" home-crafting tutorial, which placed a Manufacturing Station, Weapon Station and Generator, is retired, and its 2026 replacement has not been resolved in the quest registry.
