Builds
There are endless options when it comes to theory-crafting the "best" builds, as some items are either niche, or paired well with other items in a build. When creating a unique build, keep in mind how each stat affects another and try to stick with 2 or 3 skills which creates a powerful, synergetic, and focused build. Focused builds are going to provide more of an impact for group-based content and running through dungeons with relative ease.
Currently, four core build types are present that give players the most value to the relevant gear sets: DPS, Healer, Tank, and Dodge. Keep in mind - hybrid builds exist in each of these core builds as extensions, but it depends on what the player wants to achieve.
Below are tables for each core build, with the most effective items displayed first and then its relevant downgrades.
Note: Items displayed here show what is best-in-slot for the relevant build. Some items work better with others and it depends on what hybrid build the player wants.
DPS
Currently one of the two most sought-after roles in the late game meta. Stack up heavy hit chance, crit chance, and dish out damage quickly (imagine spending 45 minutes to solo Spectra with full dodge).
Meta ability choices - [Fortify, Pyrosphere, Gleam Twins] (big damage), [Fortify, Healing Pulse, Pyrosphere/Gleam Twins] (more sustain). Tip: Try to hit level 4 Pyrosphere to effectively deal damage in Spectra.
n.b. - heavy hit flat out doubles your attack, crit increases your damage based on your crit damage. Generally taking HH is easier to stack damage, but crit damage doesn't have a cap so you could potentially go x6 damage with crit. HH and crit are stackable too.

- Mighty Cleaver at Epic tier or better.
- Drakkar performs better than its higher level counterpart by a marginal number, unless Soul Hunter Spine is leveled to Legendary tier.
- Provides more DPS due to its high Heavy Hit chance.
- Do not swap out for maximum DPS potential.
Healer
Currently one of the two most sought-after roles in the late game meta. Stack up your buff power and grant huge shields and heals to teammates - crucial in late game meta.

- BIS for DPS/Healer hybrids due to its damage value and buff power.
- Although less health value, buff power is significantly higher than Revenant Priest Cloak.
Tank
"Survivability is key"
One of the main builds in the early game until you manage to scrap together decent gear for Spectra raids. Unfortunately, there is currently no space in the late game meta for tanks. Additionally, defense is capped at 40% in comparison to dodge (capped at 100%). If all you want is survivability, just go full dodge (except that some abilities in the beacon dungeons are not possible to be dodged - lava slime trail).
However, you don't dish out enough damage as either tank or dodge for most people to want you in their Spectra raids. Thus, Tank and Dodge are also known as 'selfish' builds. They are however very viable in dungeons and early to mid game.

Dodge
"It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities" - Dodgeball
Similar to tanks, but basically (almost) immortal with little to no damage. This build is great for AFK farming extreme difficulty dungeons. However, there is currently no roles in late game meta for dodge simply because you don't do enough damage (you'd spend 30 minutes clearing a Spectra dungeon).
Dodge is however a plan B for a failed spectra run, so it's good to have a set around regardless. (Just be prepared to spend 30 minutes chipping away at her health bar)
