Soulbound’s premise is a cool sci-fi twist on fantasy: you play as “Pioneers,” elite gamers who have uploaded their souls into a game world to fight against sentient AIs threatening to break into reality . It’s a meta-story that mixes technology and fantasy, and it gives a fun narrative justification for why dying in-game matters (you’re literally humanity’s last hope inside a simulation!).

Your soul is thrust into the Dreamworld via a Soul Link device. Now, you must navigate this new fascinating realm.

An old man known as Major washes up on the shores of your Island. After helping him defeat some of the Arcadian Mayor's minions, you agree to accompany Major to the mainland. Your journey begins.
